Transfiguration

 

After an initial collaboration with The Peace Paper Project in Oct 2012,

I was thrilled to build on what we'd learned by assisting art therapist Genevieve Camp (MA, LCAT, ATR-BC) with a workshop for individuals struggling with eating disorders. This video Transfiguration, filmed and produced by Camp, documents the project and serves as a perfect example of the healing potential found in hand papermaking processes.

 

The project was made possible thanks to assistance from a partnership with the University of Florida & Shands Eating Disorder Recovery Center and additional assistance from art therapist Amy Bucciarelli (MS, LMHC, ATR-BC). Financial support was provided by H.O.P.E. Inc.
